Pumpkin Pickin’

This year the kiddos were finally old enough to go to the pumpkin patch and enjoy it.  Every year we make a trip to the pumpkin patch, but it rarely turns out how I expected in my dreams.  Last year was probably the worst as it was one of my first outings in public with all 3 kiddos (2,1 and newborn) to join the St. Michaels MOYC group.  It was definitely one of the most stressful/unsuccessful outings I’ve ever had, but this year we went to the same patch with all 5 of us and we had a great time!  Of course it was crazy busy so we were in/out in a little over 2 hours (an eternity for Clint), and it was 80+ degrees outside so we were all a little sweaty by the end.

There were baby pigs that were only 2 days old- pretty sweet to see new life! Pumpkin launching (my personal fave). And a tractor ride of course.  We picked a bunch of pumpkins to bring home and some bales of hay as well to make our annual scarecrow.

We are loving Fall so far, and the freedom of doing things with toddlers versus newborns- I wasn’t sure we’d ever reach this stage, but here we are!
